USGA Licensed Clubs in the Carolinas
Updated: June 23, 2008
The "Non-Licensed Clubs" a list of clubs no longer licensed to offer USGA handicaps to members. As of July 1, clubs that are not handicap licensed cannot refer to handicaps they calculate as "USGA handicaps." Members of these clubs are not eligible to participate in any event (including club member/guest tournaments) that require USGA handicaps. Nor are these golfers eligible to participate in CGA events.
Non-licensed clubs can resolve this problem by becoming handicap certified and licensed through the USGA (at www.usga.org). However, until they fulfill the licensing process, any handicap these clubs calculate is not USGA a handicap.
