North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship

Keith Hills Country Club, Buies Creek, NC

May 18-20, 1999

Tom Hadley of Hendersonville fired a final round 74 for a

three shot victory over Bob Clarke of Asheville to win the North Carolina

Senior Amateur championship at Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek,

North Carolina. The North Carolina Senior marked the second straight CGA

senior championship won by players from Hendersonville as Charlie Thompson

and Marshall Fall of Hendersonville won the Carolinas Senior Four-Ball

championship in April.

Hadley rode a second round tournament-low 67 to the victory. With the win,

Hadley automatically qualifies to represent the CGA in the

Carolinas-Virginias team matches, to be played October 15-17 at Grandfather

Golf and Country Club in Linville, NC.

This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
