ROCK HILL, SC -- Matthew Bryant of Columbia defeated Zack Siefert of Simpsonville by a 3 & 2 margin in the final match of the South Carolina Junior Match Play championship at Rock Hill Country Club in Rock Hill. By gaining the final match Bryant and Siefert qualify for the Carolinas team which will take on a team from the Virginias in August.

In the girls final, Laura Crawford of Lancaster defeated Dinah Plyler of Chapin 3 & 1 in the final match.

The Wednesday afternoon boys 13 and under final was won by Justin Thompson of Clarks Hill who outlasted Marcus Ling of Greenwood, 1 up.

This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
