5th Parent-Child Championship of the Carolinas Golf Association

GREENSBORO, NC -- Chuck and Rebecca Burkhart of Clemmons, NC fired a tournament record round of four-under par 68 to win the Carolinas Parent-Child championship at Bryant Park Golf Club in Browns Summit, North Carolina. The pair, who won the championship for the third time in the five year history of the event, won by a seven shot margin over Randy and Aimee Davis of Salisbury, NC.
The format of the championship, modified alternate shot, featured each player driving from the tee then choosing a ball to play and alternating until the ball is holed.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
