Greensboro, NC – Final round results of the 1^st North Carolina Super Senior Championship of the Carolinas Golf Association hosted by Greensboro Country Club, Irving Park course, in Greensboro, NC on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 (5842 yards, par 37-34—71).

Larry Boswell of Jamestown carded an even par final round of 71 to win the inaugural North Carolina Super Senior Championship by four strokes over Jay Hoover of Greensboro and Tom Hadley of Hendersonville.

The 65-year-old Boswell played steady golf with three birdies off-set by three bogeys in his round. This is Boswell's second CGA senior individual title as he won the 1998 Carolinas Senior Amateur at Forsyth Country Club in Winston-Salem, NC.

The North Carolina Super Senior Championship is open to male amateur golfers age 65 and over, who are North Carolina residents and have a 15.4 handicap index or less at a CGA member club.

The field was divided into flights by round one scores for the final round. Flight results are listed at bottom.

This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
