Carolina Trace member Alan Dirk shot a four under par-68 to earn medalist honors and his way into the Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship at the Roaring Gap Club in Roaring Gap, NC on September 9-11, 2008. He will be joined by the other top 20 competitors on the Donald Ross design. The cut line fell at 6 over-78 with 25 hopefuls advancing onto the championship.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
