Your tee time for the USGA Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Brier Creek Country Club on July 26-27, 2004 is on the enclosed tee time sheet. The number of spots has not been assigned as yet. Qualifying will be 36 holes stroke play. The field will be cut to the low 30% of entries and ties plus anyone within 8 shots of the lead after Monday's 18 hole round. The cut makers will be re-paired for the final round on Tuesday, July 27. Competitors are required to walk during all phases of the championship, including the qualifying rounds.

Caddies will not be available at the club so you should make arrangements to bring a caddie/cart driver should you decide not to carry your bag. (Cart/range fee is $20) You may also rent a pull cart from the club. Private pull carts are not allowed. There will be a $6 range fee for all players who do not rent a cart. Please take care of all fees before you tee off. All fees are per day.

You are entitled to only one complimentary practice round, (Cart not included and mandatory at $20) which may be scheduled on July 25 after 2 PM. Other times will be available on July 13-15 and 20-22. Please call three days in advance to set up your practice round time. Don’t just show up and expect to be accommodated. It would be helpful if you contact other qualifiers (No caddies or parents) and make your own game before calling. You may call the CGA office if you need telephone numbers of your fellow competitors.

There is no formal player registration at Brier Creek Country Club. Be at your assigned tee time five minutes prior to receive all player information.

The USGA does not allow spectator carts. Special requests are to be made in writing to the USGA. Also, cell phone use during play is not allowed.

Brier Creek Country Club is a soft spike only facility. Private coolers are not allowed. Shirts must have collars; no denim allowed and shorts must be Bermuda length. The club accepts credit cards only for all purchases and rentals. Cash is not accepted except at the beverage cart.
