• Starting Time

Please check the enclosed pairing sheet for your starting time on Monday, May 17th. All play will begin from the 1^st or 10^th tee. Remember that local qualifying is 18 holes, that you must walk in all phases of the Open and that you are responsible for providing your own caddie/cart driver. Caddies will NOT be available at Rolling Hills CC. Players must walk but you may carry your own bag during the qualifying round. Caddies will be allowed to rent a cart for the qualifying round at this site. However, caddies may have to share carts during the qualifying round.

• USGA Policies

The USGA prohibits the use of cellular phones during qualifying and championship rounds. Also, the USGA does not allow spectator carts during qualifying rounds or the championship proper.

Traditional metal spikes are not allowed at Rolling Hills Country Club. The penalty for non-compliance is disqualification.

• Practice Round

You are entitled to one complimentary practice round on Sunday, May 16th anytime after 12:00 p.m. If you should need to make other arrangements, please contact the Rolling Hills CC Golf Shop. You may call the Rolling Hills golf shop to schedule a practice round beginning April 30th.

There is a mandatory $20 cart/range fee for the practice round. Make sure to identify yourself as an U.S. Women’s Open qualifying participant. It would be helpful if you make your own game before calling.

Make sure to check-in with the golf shop when you arrive and pay your appropriate fees.

Players may walk during the practice round but must still pay the mandatory $20 cart/range fee.

Play the Blue tee markers (approximately 6200 yards) during your practice round.

• Lodging

The Hampton Inn is located in Monroe, NC. A rate of $69 per night is being offered to competitors. Please mention code CGA to get the special rate. Please make your reservations by May 10^th. After this date, standard rates may apply.

Rolling Hills Country Club is located just off of Hwy 74 in Monroe, NC.

• Slow Play

Any player who is discovered taking more than 40 seconds to play a stroke is subject to a warning for slow play and will be advised of the fact. The player will be notified that exceeding 40 seconds on one more occasion will result in a penalty of one stroke. A third violation will result in a two-stroke penalty, followed by disqualification.

• Qualifying Spots

Look under the green drop down menu listed as 2004 Tournament Tee Times from the CGA home page and look for the US Women’s Open Local Qualifying-Rolling Hills.
