ELEANA COLLINS AND WILL COLLINS WIN 38TH NC JUNIOR TITLES

Fayetteville, NC--Collins and Collins win the 39th NC Junior Championship. Eleana Collins of Pinehurst won the girl's NC Junior Championship by defeating
Kristin Vincent of Burlington 1 up in the final match.  Also, Will Collins of Salisbury won the boy's championship defeating Robert Hoadley of Southern Pines
by a 4&3 margin.

Will Collins, a rising high school senior, survived 6 round of match play to capture his first Carolinas Golf Association major junior title.  In the first
round on Friday morning, Collins defeated Chad Day of Raleigh by a 3&1 margin. Then in the second round of the day, Collins defeated Henry Zaytoun, III of
Raleigh 4&3.  Collins then defeated 15 year old Robert Hoadley of Southern Pines, 4&3 to secure the championship trophy.  

Eleana Collins, a rising high school senior, advanced in the morning match by defeating Virginia Mayer of Charlotte by a margin of 6&5.  Collins then won the finals match over Kristin Vincent of Burlington, 2 up.  This was also Collins' first Carolinas Golf Association major junior championship.

Both champions and runner ups Hoadley and Vincent earned invitation to be members of the Carolinas Junior team that will play against the Virginias
junior teams this August.
