Note: Due to the overwhelming number of entries received for the Pinehurst No. 3 event, the CGA was able to allow some of the overflow to play Course No. 5. To be fair to all entrants, the CGA held a draw to determine which foursome groups will play Course No. 3 and a draw of the individual entries to play Course No. 5. The CGA accepted 108 players at each course including the Tournament of Champions. There will be three tournaments held at the same time with one tournament on Course No. 3, Tournament of Champions on Course No. 5 and another tournament on Course No. 5. Be sure to check-in with the CGA representative at the golf shop and pay your cart fee to the club prior to the shotgun start.

Online Registration: Be sure to use the proper registration link for either an "Individual" or a group of four "Foursome" entry.

Eligibility: Players must enter as an individual or in a group of four. Entries with only two or three players will be returned. Entries are open to male and female amateur golfers who are members of CGA member clubs. All player information must be filled out completely. Incomplete entries will be returned. Player substitutions are allowed at registration. Substitute players must present a current USGA handicap card from a CGA member club, no more than 60 days old from the tournament date, to the official-in-charge at registration. A player with more than one CGA handicap index must use the lowest current index. The CGA official-in-charge reserves the rights to adjust course handicaps or withhold prizes for competitors whose handicaps are considered unrealistic or who have participated in a disproportionate share of CGA prize distributions.

Format: USGA Rules of Golf govern play. 18 holes of individual stroke play. 100% course handicap. Field divided into three divisions based upon handicap index and gender. Men A: 7.9 index or less; Men B: 8.0 index or higher; Women.

Entries: Entry forms are accumulated for the entire Open/Close window. Open/Close dates, online registration, tee times and tournament results are available at www.carolinasgolf.org. Tournament fields are selected using a "blind draw" method. Alternates are ranked according to the date an entry is received. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the tournament, by the Carolinas Golf Association. The CGA is not responsible for errors or delays made by any mail or delivery courier. Fax, e-mail, telephone, late or incomplete entries are not accepted. A check for the appropriate entry fee payable to the Carolinas Golf Association must accompany each entry form. When One-Day Tournaments are scheduled on consecutive days, priority in acceptance is given to those who enter both events. Confirmation of acceptance is sent to Player 1 listed above. Preference is given to groups of four. Individual entries are paired together to fill vacant tee times. Tee time requests are not accepted.
