Format: 36-hole stroke play.
Practice round: A practice round will be available at Emerald Lake Golf Club from May 1-5 for $20 per
contestant. Contestants must call the golf shop to schedule a practice round starting time.
Please identify yourself as a CGA Vicki DiSantis Junior Girls Championship participant
when calling.
Starting times: Starting times will be available through the CGA office and/or the carolinasgolf.org web
site on April 29, 2006. Please do not call before this date.
Saturday times will begin at 12:00 p.m. and run until 2:30 p.m..
Sunday times will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 12:30 p.m.
Yardages: Girls 14-15 and 16-18 divisions: approx. 5750 yards printable scorecard
Girls 12-13 division: approx. 5200 yards. printable scorecard

Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the champions, runner-up and second runner-up in each
division.
Contestants: A list of all contestants is listed on the tournament home page.
Caddies: Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddy. Caddy must be 18 years of age
or younger, no exceptions. Caddies must walk at all times as well.
Measuring devices: Approved measuring devices may be used during the championship.
Spectator carts: Spectator carts will not be available.
Dress code: Women’s fashion shirts without a collar must have sleeves.
Women’s fashion shirts must not rise above the belt line at anytime during the golf
swing.
Women’s shorts must be no more than 5" above the knee.
All shirts must be tucked in at all times.
Tournament dinner: The tournament dinner will follow round 1 and will be at Emerald Lake GC. Parents
and/or guests of the contestants are welcome to attend the dinner for $12 per person,
but must notify the CGA before April 26, 2006.
Hotel: Championship headquarters will be the Holiday Inn Express on East Independence
Blvd. It is about 5 miles from the club. They are offering a rate of $79 per night per room if
rooms are booked by April 7, 2006. Reservations can be made by calling 704-821-9800.

Parent policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child. We do ask that all parents remain on the
cart path (roughs in no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a ball.
Withdraws: If you cannot compete in this championship, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to round 1. If you do not withdraw
properly, you are considered a "no show" and
you will be suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
