Your tee time for the USGA Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Eagle Point Golf Club on July 31 - August 1, 2007 is on the enclosed tee time sheet. The number of spots has not been assigned as yet. Qualifying will be 36 holes stroke play. The field will be cut to the low 30% of entries and ties plus anyone within 8 shots of the lead after Tuesday's 18 hole round. The cut makers will be re-paired for the final round on Wednesday, August 1. Competitors are required to walk during all phases of the championship, including this qualifier.

Caddies will be available at the club ($60 per bag + Tip) and will be on a first call basis. The club has 30 carts for caddies to transport clubs available for $25 per round and will also be on a first come, first serve basis. You may also bring your own caddie or carry your bag. Pull carts are not allowed.

You are entitled to only one complimentary practice round which may be scheduled on Monday, July 30 or when times are available on weekdays the week prior. Caddies, parents and friends are not entitled to play with competitors. Tee times for your practice round must be made in advance through the golf shop. Don’t just show up and expect to be accommodated. It would be helpful if you contact other qualifiers and make your own game before calling. You may call the CGA office if you need telephone numbers of your fellow competitors. The qualifier will be played from the back tees.

Methods of Payment: Eagle Point accepts cash only for food/beverage and caddie fees. Golf shop purchases and cart rentals may be paid by Visa and MasterCard. There is no formal player registration at the club. Take care of all necessary fees and be at your assigned tee five minutes prior to your tee time in order to receive player information.

USGA Policies: The USGA does not allow spectator carts. Special requests are to be made in writing to the USGA. Cell phone use during play is not allowed. The One-Ball will be in affect and measuring devices will NOT be allowed.

Eagle Point Policies: Eagle Point is a soft spike only facility. Private coolers are not allowed. Shirts must have collars; no denim and shorts must be Bermuda length. The dress code also applies to caddies. Pull carts are not allowed.

Directions: Follow US 17 North of Wilmington for 6+ miles and turn right onto Porters Neck Road. There is a Harris Teeter shopping center at the Porters Neck traffic Light. Go several miles until road dead ends. Turn right onto Eagle Point Drive. Club is about 1/2 mile on right.
