Members of the Carolinas Golf Association's junior teams are selected by the following criteria:

Boys’ team members must be 18 years of age or younger, who have not started college.  The following are invited to participate in the Carolinas-Virginias junior team matches:

·         SCGA SC Junior Champion

·         CGA NC Junior Champion

·         CGA SC Junior Match Play Champion

·         CGA Carolinas Junior Champion and runner-up

·         CGA Dogwood State Junior Champion from the previous year (if still eligible)

·         2 captains picks

If any invitee is not still eligible or does not accept the invitation, the next highest finisher in the Carolinas Junior Championship is invited to play.

Invited players must have played in at least 1 CGA junior championship the year of matches.

 

Girls’ team members must be 18 years of age or younger, who have not started college.  The following are invited to participate in the Mid-Atlantic Challenge junior girls team matches:

·         CGA Vicki DiSantis Champion

·         WSCGA SC Junior Champion

·         CGA NC Junior Champion

·         CGA Carolinas Girls Champion and Runner-Up

·         CGA SC Junior Match Play Champion

·         CGA Twin States Champion from the previous year (if still eligible)

·         CGA Dogwood State Junior Champion from the previous year (if still eligible)

If any invitee is not still eligible or does not accept the invitation, the All-Carolinas Junior Team points as of July 4 are used to determine the next person to be invited.
