Your entry for the CGA Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifier at The Governors Club in Chapel Hill, NC on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 has been accepted.

Practice Rounds: You are entitled to one practice round (cart/range fee mandatory and not included at $20.00) on June 30 or when times are available on weekdays beginning June 23. Practice round tee times must be made in advance with the golf shop. Make sure to identify yourself as a Carolinas Amateur participant when calling. It will be helpful if you contact another qualifier participant and make your own game before calling. Play the Back tees on all holes except # 8 and # 16 for your practice round. Qualifier will be held on the Lakes/Foothills course.

Tee Times: Qualifying tee times will be available beginning Thursday, June 25 through our web site www.carolinasgolf.org or by calling the CGA or the club. All tee times are between 8-10 am off # 1 and # 10 tees.

Cart Fees: Be aware that the $20.00 cart/range fee is MANDATORY for both the practice and qualifying rounds. You may walk during the qualifier but must still pay the cart fee. Caddies are permitted during the qualifying round but only two carts are allowed per group.

Caddie/Cart/Spectator Rule: During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time. Club owned spectator carts are not allowed.

Distance Measuring Devices: The use of distance measuring devices during the qualifying round is permitted.

Club Policies: The club accepts MasterCard, Visa, and cash for golf shop purchases and cart fees. Food/beverage will be cash only. The Governors Club is a soft spike only facility.  No denim, shirts must have collars and shorts must be Bermuda-length. No personal coolers.

Directions: From I-40 take Highway 15-501 South to Mt. Carmel Church Rd. and turn Left. Go 3.5 miles and turn Right on Governors Dr.
