Little River Golf and Resort,
Player Information
Championship Site: Little River Golf and Resort is the
championship site. All teams at this site will compete for the overall championship
and for flight prizes.
Practice Round: Players are allowed one practice round from July
27-30 when tee times are available.
Players may begin calling the Little River golf shop on July 20 for tee
times. Mandatory cart/range fee for
practice round is $25.00 per player. Play the Blue tees during your practice round except play the White
tees on holes #1, #2, #5, #7, #8, #9 and #16 (6706 yards). Note that yardage is
subject to change.
Championship Format:
Championship Registration: There is no formal registration at
Little River Golf and Resort. Championship round
cart/range fees are paid by the CGA. Cart use is mandatory
for this championship. Make sure to be at your assigned tee at least 5 minutes
prior to the start of your round.
Tee Times: Tee times for the championship will
be available on July 24. Starting times will begin at 7:30am off #1 tee.

accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Cash for golf shop and
food and beverage purchases.
Policies and Rules: Little River Golf and Resort is a spikeless facility. Proper golf attire must be worn (no
denim, shirts must have collars). No personal coolers. Distance measuring
devices will be permitted during this event.
Directions: Little River Golf and Resort is
located on Hwy 15-501, 5 miles north of the Pinehurst traffic circle or 4 miles
south of Carthage.
Area Lodging:
Little River Golf and Resort offers
two-bedroom villas adjacent to the clubhouse overlooking the golf course. CGA
discounted rates are $40.00 per person per night based on 4 people in 1 villa
($160.00/night) or $55.00 per person per night based on 2 people in 1 villa
($110.00/night). Rates include all state/local taxes. Call the front desk at Little River
(910-949-4600) to make reservations. When making reservations make sure to
identify yourself as a Father-Son Championship contestant being held at Little
River.
