Player Information
Practice Round: You
are entitled to one practice round after 1:00 p.m. the day before the
event, Thursday, July 30, or any weekday that week, based on availability, also
after 1 p.m. Call 910-673-1092, ext. 1,
to book your practice-round time within five days of the date you want to
play. A $23.00 cart and range fee is
mandatory for the practice round.
The Course: For practice, play the
Blue tees.
Championship Registration:
Please check-in the golf shop to let us know you have arrived. Championship round cart and range fees are paid by
the CGA. Cart use is mandatory for
this championship. Make sure to be at your assigned tee at least five minutes
prior to the start of your round.
Format:
The format is modified alternate shot.
Both team members play from the designated teeing ground, select one
ball for play and then play alternate shot until the ball is holed.
Club Policies: Players cannot wear metal spikes. The club dress code requires shirts with
collars and prohibits denim. No personal
coolers are allowed. Please observe
these rules. The club accepts
MasterCard, VISA and cash for payments.
Distance Measuring Devices: Use of DMDs
is allowed during the tournament as long as a device does not measure other
conditions that might affect play.
Tee Times:
All play will start at the first tee.
The ninth hole at SLCC does not return to the clubhouse. Starting times will be available Friday, July
24 from the CGA website (www.carolinasgolf.org),
the CGA office during work hours (910-673-1000) or Seven Lakes CC
(910-673-1092) to learn starting times.
