Information
Host Professional: Jeff Dotson,

Format: 54-holes of
stroke play (27-holes for 11 and under division). Each division will be cut to the low half and
ties after 36-holes (11 and under division will play all 3 days).
Practice round: A complimentary practice
round will be available at CC of
Starting times: Starting times will be
available through the CGA office and/or the carolinasgolf.org web site on July 24, 2009. Please do not call before this date. Players are asked to check in with the
starter at least 10 minutes before their starting time.
Yardages: Boys 14-15 &
16-18 divisions: approx. 7,100 yards. Print

Boys 11 and
under division: 5,338 yards (silver tees)
Prizes: Trophies will
be awarded to the overall champion, winner, runner-up and second runner-up in
each division.

Caddies: Players must
walk at all times, but may use a caddy.
Caddy must be 18 years of age or younger, no exceptions. Caddies must
walk at all times as well.
Measuring devices: Devices that measure distance only
may be used during this championship.
Spectator carts: Spectator carts will NOT be
available.

Dress code: No metal or ceramic
spikes.
Hats/visors
must be worn with brim forward and must be removed while indoors.
Collared shirts or mock turtlenecks
must be worn and tucked in at all times.
Player Registration: All
players must register on Monday, June 30th from 6:30 p.m. until
6:550 p.m.
Hotel: The Holiday
Inn Express in
Junior Teams: The overall champion and
overall runner-up will be invited to represent the Carolinas in the
Carolinas-Virginias Junior Team matches at Boonesboro
CC in
Rankings: This is a boys TYGA
rankings event that has been assigned a multiplier of 8.
This is a boys
SCJGA rankings event that has been assigned a multiplier of 7.
Parent policy: Parents are encouraged to
follow their child. We do ask that all
parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting
with the search for a ball.
Withdraws: If you cannot compete
in this championship, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA
office at 910-673-1000 prior to round 1.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no
show" and you will be suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
