EXEMPTIONS

Players in the following categories are exempt into the championship.

11 and under division: First 18 entries received. NO QUALIFYING

12-13 division: First 36 entries received. NO QUALIFYING

14-15 & 16-18 divisions:

1. All making cut in 2008 Carolinas Junior Boys’ Championship.

2. Top 8 in the 2009 NC Junior Championship.

3. Top 8 in the 2009 SCGA Junior Championship.

2. Top 50 on the SCJGA boys’ rankings as of June 8, 2009.

3. Top 50 on the TYGA NC boys’ rankings as of June 8, 2009.

4. All 2008 and 2009 US Junior Amateur qualifiers.

All exempt players must complete an official entry form by the closing date.

BOYS’ 14-18 QUALIFYING:

Those not included in the above exempt categories have the opportunity to qualify on July 20, 2009 at Hidden Valley C in Gaston, SC or on July 23, 2009 at CC of Johnston County in Smithfield, NC. A minimum of ten spots will be available at each site. The final qualifying numbers will be determined after entries have closed.
