We look forward to seeing you at the 29th Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship at Treyburn Country Club in Durham, NC. The dates of the tournament are April 17-19, 2009. Please read the following information carefully as there will be no formal check-in on site.

 

Practice Round: You are entitled to one complimentary practice round on April16 after 1:00 PM or when times are available on Wednesdays, April 1, 8 & 15. A $20 cart/range fee will be mandatory for the practice round.  You must call the club in advance when making a practice round tee time and it will help if you contact other contestants and make your own game before calling. The club will begin accepting practice round tee time reservations on March 25.

 

Course Set-Up: The championship will be played from the yardages listed below. Yardage is subject to change due to course and weather conditions.

Cart/Range Fee: Cart rental is optional for tournament rounds and the rate is $20 per round. Pull carts are not allowed. There will be a $5 per day range fee for players who decide to walk. Please take care of all fees prior to your round or your name will be tagged on the scoreboard for payment due.

 

Tee Times: Times will be available on April 10 by calling the CGA or Treyburn CC. You can also find times and other information on the CGA web site at www.carolinasgolf.org. 

 

Club Policies: SOFT SPIKES ONLY. The penalty for non-compliance is DQ. Shirts must have collars (Mock turtle neck golf shirts are allowed), shorts must be Bermuda length (Cargo type not allowed) and no denim is allowed. The dress code also applies to caddies. NOTE: TCC accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express for all purchases and cart rentals. Private coolers and outside food/beverage are not allowed.

 

Caddie/Spectator Cart Policy: During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time. Club owned spectator carts are not allowed.
