Player Information

Your entry for the CGA North Carolina Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifier at Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC on Thursday, May 14, 2009 has been accepted.

Please review the following qualifying information since there is no formal registration at Warrior Golf Club. Remember that we are guests of the club and we need to conduct ourselves in a proper manner. Also, make sure to take care of your cart/range fees in the golf shop prior to the qualifying round and be at your assigned tee ready to play a few minutes before your tee time. Failure to pay cart/range fees will result in suspension from future CGA events. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you at Warrior Golf Club.

Practice Rounds: You are entitled to one complimentary practice round (cart fee mandatory and not included at $20.00) from April 28-May 13 when tee times are available. You may begin calling for practice tee times on April 21. Make sure to identify yourself as a North Carolina Amateur participant when calling. It will be helpful if you contact other qualifier participants and make your own game before calling. Play the Black tees during your practice round except play the White tee on hole #12 and the Blue tee on hole #16. Par is 35-36—71. Approximate yardage is 6580 yards. Yardage is subject to change.

Tee Times: Qualifying tee times will be available beginning Thursday, May 7 on the CGA website (www.carolinasgolf.org) or by calling the CGA or Warrior Golf Club. Qualifier tee times are from 8:00am-10:00am off the 1st and 10th tees.

Cart Fees: Be aware that the $20.00 cart/range fee is MANDATORY for both the practice and qualifying rounds. Due to the distance between holes at this club, cart use is mandatory at this qualifying site. Caddies are permitted during the qualifying round but only two carts are allowed per group or one cart if there are two players in a pairing. Pull-carts are NOT allowed.

Caddie/Spectator Cart Policy: During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time. Club owned spectator carts are not allowed.

Distance Measuring Devices: Local rule allowing the use of distance measuring devices during the qualifying round will be in effect.
