Sectional Qualifying

Player Information

 

 

The qualifier will be played on the club’s Lake course.

 

Practice Rounds: You are entitled to one practice round on September 2 or any weekday after 12:00pm when tee times are available. There is a mandatory $25.00 cart/range fee for both the practice round and qualifying round. You may begin calling for practice round tee times on August 20. Make sure to identify yourself as a North Carolina Mid-Amateur participant when calling. It will be helpful if you contact other qualifier participants and make your own game before calling. Play the Black tees except play the Blue tees on holes #6, #8, #13 during your practice round. Approximately 6750 yards.  Note that yardage is subject to change.

Tee Times: Qualifying tee times will be available beginning Friday, August 28 through our website www.carolinasgolf.org or by calling the CGA or Carolina Trace CC. Qualifier tee times are from 8:00am to 10:00am off the 1st and 10th tees. Number of qualifying spots will be determined after the close of entries.

Cart/Range Fees: Remember that the $20.00 cart/range fee is MANDATORY for both the practice and qualifying rounds. Make sure to check-in with the golf shop prior to practice and qualifying rounds to pay your cart/range fees. You may walk during the qualifier but must still pay the cart/range fee. Caddies are permitted during the qualifying round.

Caddies and Spectators Riding in a Cart Policy: During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time.

Distance Measuring Devices: The use of distance measuring devices during the qualifying round is permitted.

Club Policies: Carolina Trace CC accepts MasterCard, Visa, and cash for golf shop purchases, cart fees and food/beverage. Also, be advised that Carolina Trace CC is a non-metal spike facility.  No denim, shirts must have collars and shorts must be Bermuda-length. The dress code applies to caddies. No personal food or coolers. Pull-carts are allowed.
