Sectional Qualifying

Player Information

You are entitled to one complimentary practice round (cart fee not included and mandatory) on August 24 or whenever times are available on weekdays beginning August 5.  Do not call for a practice round time before August 1. Times must be made in advance through the golf shop. It will be helpful if you contact other qualifier participants and make your own game before calling. Play will be from the back tees.

NOTE: Pine Brook CC is a soft spike facility.  No denim, shirts must have collars and shorts must be Bermuda-length.  Private coolers are not allowed. The club accepts cash, check, MasterCard, Visa and American Express for all purchases and cart rentals.

Except for emergencies, cell phone use during play is prohibited.  A warning is given for the first offense followed by disqualification for the next offense. The local rule allowing measuring devices will be in affect.

Qualifying tee times will be available beginning August 20 through our web site www.carolinasgolf.org or by calling the CGA or Pine Brook Country Club. The event will be a two-tee morning only start.

Caddie/Spectator Cart Policy: During the play of a hole, either the player or his caddie may ride in a golf cart but not both at the same time. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time. Club owned spectator carts are not allowed.

Be aware that cart fees are MANDATORY ($25 includes cart and range balls) for both the practice and qualifying rounds, although you may walk during the qualifier if you wish. Good luck!

Directions: From I-40 West, exit onto NC 52 North. Take Germanton Road North Exit 114 onto NC 8 and turn left at stop sign.  Club is about a mile on the right.
