Club Policies: Shorts must be Bermuda-length and shirts must
have a collar. No denim. No personal coolers. No private pull carts.
Starting times will be available on Wednesday, August
5. Check the CGA
web site at www.carolinasgolf.org; call the CGA office or Pinewild
golf shop.
You are entitled to one
practice round on August 10 or any weekday prior to the championship when tee
times are available. You must call the golf shop in advance to schedule a
practice round. Make sure to identify yourself as a Senior Four-Ball
participant. It would be helpful if you make your own game before calling. Do
not just show up and expect to be accommodated. There is a mandatory $20.00 cart/range fee for the practice round.
Cart/range fee for each championship round is $20.00. The club will collect
cart fees for the first two rounds on August 10 or 11. Contestants may choose
to walk during championship rounds but must pay a $5.00 daily range fee. Club
owned spectator carts are not allowed.

Payment
The club accepts cash, MasterCard, and Visa for cart and
range fees and golf shop purchases as well as food and beverage.
Championship Format
Championship is conducted at 54 holes of four-ball stroke
play. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the low 30 scores and ties for the
final round. Top 20 overall teams receive merchandise at the conclusion of the
championship. An on-course play-off is used to break a tie for the
championship.
Championship Schedule
(Tee times based on maximum field size of 88 teams)
Tuesday, August 11 First round. Tee times begin at 8:00am and 1:00pm
off #1 and #10 tees.
Wednesday, August 12 Second round. Tee times begin at 8:00am and 1:00pm
off #1 and #10 tees.
Thursday, August 13 Final round. Tee times begin at 8:00am off #1 and
#10 tees.
Pinewild is a spikeless
facility. The penalty for non-compliance is disqualification. Except for emergencies,
use of cell phones during play is prohibited. Any player discovered taking more
than 40 seconds to play a stroke is subject to a penalty of one stroke. A second violation will result in a two
stroke penalty, followed by team disqualification. The Local Rule allowing the
use of distance measuring devices will be in effect.
