1. All former champions of the North Carolina Women's Senior Championship.
2. Senior playing members of the 2008 Carolinas Women's Team.
3. Players ranked in the Top 10 of the CGA Carolinas Senior Women's Amateur Rankings as of the closing date.
4. Players who finished 10th or better in the 2008 North Carolina Women's Senior.
5. Current USGA individual champions.
6. 2008 USGA Championship qualifiers who participated in the championship.
7. Current senior women's club champion of The Club at Irish Creek as of the closing date.
