Eligibility: Invitation only. Entry is open to individuals that are a low gross or low net winner from a 2009 CGA One-Day Tournament, 2008 CGA One-Day Tournament of Champions or 2009 Mid-Senior/Senior/Super Senior One-Day Tournament. (*Note this is the last year that previous year’s Tournament of Champions winners will be invited).

Entry Fee: $55.00 includes cart and range fees. Note: Your credit card will be charged the entry fee upon submitting the online application. If you are not accepted into the tournament, your credit card will be credited the full entry fee amount.

Entry Information: Online registration opens at 12:00am on the open date. Fax, e-mail, telephone, late, illegible or incomplete entries are not accepted. The $55 entry fee must accompany this form. Entry fee includes cart and range fees. Only one tournament entry fee per check. Make check payable to the Carolinas Golf Association. Confirmation of acceptance is sent to the Applicant. Individuals who are a "No Show" (DNS) or “No Card” (NC) will be suspended from the next four CGA one-day tournaments that they are eligible for including the Tournament of Champions. The suspension will carry forward between seasons if necessary. Tee time and pairing requests are not accepted.

Refund Policy: Open Date to Close Date: Full refund minus $25.00 administrative fee if entry accepted into tournament. Day after Close Date to Three Days from Tournament Date: 50% entry fee refunded regardless of reason. Two Days and Within of Tournament Date: No refund for any reason.

Rules and Format: USGA Rules of Golf govern play. 18 holes of individual stroke play. 100% course handicap.  Field divided into four divisions based upon handicap index, gender and age. Men A: 7.9 index or less; Men B: 8.0 index or higher; Senior Men (age 55+); Women (all). Approximate yardage: Men A (6,600 yards); Men B and Senior Men (6,000 yards); Women (5,400 yards). The CGA monitors handicap score posting and reserves the right to adjust course handicaps and/or withhold prizes for competitors whose handicaps are considered unrealistic or who have participated in a disproportionate share of CGA prize distributions. Notice to Players rules sheet is available at www.carolinasgolf.org. Players should check-in with CGA tournament director prior to play to receive official score card and tournament information. CGA will automatically post a player's tournament score back to their home club.

Prizes and Merchandise: Merchandise is awarded for low gross and low net scores in all flights. Merchandise certificates are redeemable only at the host club's golf shop. Ties for low gross, 2nd gross, low net or last place net is broken using the USGA recommended method.

Waiver Statement: By submitting this application to the CGA, we agree to abide by all decisions of the CGA Tournament Committee, the CGA Tournament Manual (located at www.carolinasgolf.org) and the conditions of play pertaining to this tournament.  We are aware that disqualification is the penalty for failure to do so. We release the Carolinas Golf Association, its committee members, officers, staff, and host club from any and all liability for any event or consequence relating to entry or participation in this event.

Practice Round: Practice round is available on Course No. 1 on December 5th.  Contestants who are staying at the resort can book their practice round now by calling reservations (800-795-4653 or ext 58553).  For those not staying at the resort, call the Pinehurst Starting Tower (910-295-3186) starting on Monday, November 30th after 10:00 am.  The rate for the practice round will be $39 inclusive on No. 1.

Lodging: Pinehurst Resort is offering CGA players a discounted $99.00 single or double room rate plus tax and resort service charge on December 5. Call Pinehurst Reservations at 800-487-4653 and identify yourself with the CGA to receive the discounted rate.

Electronic Measuring Devices:  Players may use an approved distance measuring device during this event.

Caddies:  No caddies.

Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are valid until December 6, 2010.
