Locker Room: Players will have access to the men's locker room.

Club Policies: Shorts must be Bermuda-length and shirts must have a collar. No denim. No personal coolers.  Club policies are also in effect for all players and spectators.

 

Starting Times:

Starting times will be available on September 28, 2009.  Check the CGA web site at www.carolinasgolf.org or call the CGA office. Starting times will begin at 8:00am off #1 and #10 tees. 

Please be at your assigned tee ready to play a few minutes before your starting time.

 

Championship Format:

Championship format is 18 holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play.  An on-course play-off is used to break a tie for the overall championship.

 

Championship Schedule:

Thursday, October 1 - Sunday, October 4            Practice rounds

Monday, October 5                                            Championship round. Tee times begin at 8:00am off #1 and #10 tees.        

 

Practice Round and Golf Carts:

You are entitled to one complimentary practice round on October 1 – October 4 when tee times are available. You may call the National GC golf shop beginning on September 15th to

schedule a practice round. Please identify yourself as a Carolinas Pro-Amateur Club Championship participant. It would be helpful if you make your own game before calling. There is a

mandatory $25.00 cart/range fee for the practice round. Cart/range fees for the championship round are included in the entry fee.

 

Accepted Forms of Payment:

National GC accepts MasterCard, Visa or cash for cart/range fees, golf shop purchases, and food/beverage.

Policies and Rules:

National GC is a spikeless facility. The penalty for non-compliance is disqualification. Except for emergencies, use of cell phones during play is prohibited. Any player who is discovered taking more than 40 seconds to play a stroke is subject to a penalty of one stroke.  A second violation will result in a two-stroke penalty, followed by disqualification. Local rule allowing the use of distance measuring devices will be in effect.
