Tournament Information
Host professional: Alan Cress
Format: 18 holes of Pinehurst foursomes stroke play where both team members play from the
teeing ground, switch golf balls for the second shot, then select one ball for
the third shot and play alternate
shot until the ball is holed. A team must then complete the hole with the
ball selected.
Practice round: Practice rounds ($20 mandatory cart
fee) will be available on August 4-7, 2009. Contestants must call the golf shop
to schedule a practice round starting time. Please identify yourself as a Carolinas Pro Junior participant when
calling.
Starting times: Event will start with a 9:00 am
shotgun start. Pairings will be
available the day of the event.
Yardages: Male
Professionals and boys 14-18 will play from the championship tees on the front
9 and the back tees on the back 9 (6750 yards).
Female professionals, boys 12-13 and
girls will play from middle (5867 yards).
11 and under will play from the
forward tees (5146 yards).
Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third
place teams.
Lunch: All players are invited to the
tournament lunch following play (included in entry fee).

Caddies: All players will ride during this event. Caddies are not allowed.
Measuring devices: Devices that measure distance only
may be used during this championship.
Spectator carts: No spectator carts.

Creek accepts cash and credit cards for all purchases.
Dress code: No
metal or ceramic spikes.
Hats/visors must be worn with brim forward
and must be removed while indoors.
Collared
shirts or mock turtlenecks must be worn and tucked in at all times.
Women’s fashion shirts without a
collar must have sleeves.
Women’s
fashion shirts must not rise above the belt line at anytime during the golf
swing.
Shorts must be no more than 5” above
the knee.

Withdraws: If you cannot compete in this tournament, you must
withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to
round 1.
