Championship Player Information
Starting Times: Starting times will be available on
Thursday, September 17. Check the CGA web site at www.carolinasgolf.org
or call the CGA office or Palmetto golf shop. Note: There is no formal check-in
at CGA events. Pay your appropriate fees and be at your assigned tee before
your tee time.
Practice Round and Cart/Range Fees: You are entitled to one
complimentary practice round ($20 mandatory cart/range fee not included) on
Monday, September 21. Other times may be available on weekdays beginning
September 15. Please do not call before the 14th. You must call the golf shop
in advance to schedule a practice round. Do not just show up and expect
to be accommodated. Make sure to identify yourself as a championship
participant and it would be helpful if you contact other contestants and make
your own game before calling. The cart/range fee for championship rounds is $20
per day. Should you decide to walk there will be a $5 per day range fee.
Accepted Forms of Payment: The Club accepts CASH, check,
MasterCard, Visa and Discover for cart rentals and golf shop purchases. Food and beverage will be cash
only. Remember to pay your appropriate cart/range fees PRIOR to your round each
day or your name will be tagged on the scoreboard for payment due.

Championship Format and Course
Information: 54
holes of stroke play. After 36 holes the field will be cut to the low 60
scorers and ties for the final round. The top 30 and ties will be exempt for
the 2010 championship.
Club Rules: Palmetto is a soft spike only
facility. The penalty for non-compliance is disqualification. Shirts must have
