7. Players who finished 30th or better at the 2008 North Carolina Super Senior Championship.
8. Players who finished 30th or better at the 2008 South Carolina Super Senior Championship.
9. Players who finished 30th or better at the 2008 Carolinas Senior Championship
10. Senior playing members of the 2008 Carolinas Team.
11. Players ranked in the top 50 of the Carolinas Senior Men's Amateur Rankings as of the opening date.
12. 2008 USGA championship qualifiers who played in the Championship.
13. Current senior men's club champion of RiverTowne Country Club as of the opening date.
14.Special exemption bestowed by the CGA.
