Player Information
Official in charge: Tiffany Priest, CGA
Format: Junior division: 36-holes of individual stroke play. Players will be flighted after the first round.
Sub junior division: 18-holes of individual stroke play (9 holes each day).
Practice round: A practice round will be available at Bentwinds G&CC on Monday, July 27, 2009. Contestants must call the golf shop to schedule a practice round starting time. Please identify yourself as a Twin States Girls' Championship participant when calling. Players may call for practice round starting times beginning on July 20, 2008.
Starting times: Starting times will be available on July 22, 2009 after 12 noon through the carolinasgolf.org web site or by calling the CGA office.
Yardages: Approx. 5914 yards (white tees)
Sub-juniors will play approx. 5100 yards (red tees).
Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the champion, runner-up and second runner-up in the championship flight and the champion and runner-up in the other flights.

Caddies: Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddie. Caddy must be 18 years of age or younger, no exceptions. Caddies must walk at all times.
Measuring devices: Measuring devices that only measure distance may be used during the championship.
Spectator carts: Spectator carts will be available to rent for $20 per cart. All carts are restricted to the cart path.
Player Registration: Players must register at Bentwinds G&CC on Monday, July 27th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Player lunch: Lunch will be provided for all players after each tournament round. No banquet.

Dress code: Full details Failure to adhere to the CGA dress code will result in disqualification and may lead to being suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
Hotels: The Holiday Inn Express in Fuquay-Varina, NC is offering a rate of $81.99/night. Room block will be held until July 18th. After this date rates will be based on availability.
Please identify yourself with Carolinas Golf Association to receive the discounted rate.
Junior Teams: The overall champion (if still eligible) will be invited to represent the Carolinas in the Mid-Atlantic Challenge in 2010.
Rankings: This is a girls’ TYGA rankings event that has been assigned a multiplier of 8.
This is a girls’ SCJGA rankings event that has been assigned a multiplier of 7.
Parent policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child. We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path, unless assisting with the search for a ball.
Withdraws: If you cannot compete in this championship, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to round 1. If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and may be suspended from CGA events for 1 year.

8:00am – 4:00pm Course Open for Practice Rounds.
1:00pm – 4:00pm Player Registration – NO MEETING.
7:00pm Golf shop and practice facilities close.
Tuesday, July 28
7:00am Practice facilities and golf shop open.
8:00am – 9:54am First Round Begins, #1 and #10 tee.
10:03am First Round – Sub-Junior division, #10 tee.
11:30am-3:00pm Lunch available for all players.
7:00pm Practice facilities and golf shop close.
Wednesday, July 29
7:00am Practice facilities and golf shop open.
8:30am Final Round – Shot-gun start for all players.
