Those who successfully qualify at
mandatory
players’ meeting at
Host Professional: Michael Hutcheon
Format: 18-hole stroke play
Qualifying spots: TBD after closing date.
Practice round: A
complimentary practice round will be available at Jamestown Park GC from June 14
– 20, 2010. Contestants must call the
golf shop to schedule a practice round starting time.
Please identify yourself as a North
Carolina Junior qualifier when calling.
Starting times: Starting times
will be available through the CGA office and/or the carolinasgolf.org web site
on June 11, 2010. Please do not call before this date.
Yardages: 6665 yards (blue tees)
Prizes: Medalist trophy will be
awarded to low score for the qualifying.
Qualifying Site: Players
are allowed to change qualifying sites until the close of entries. Players are
not allowed to change qualifying sites after the close of entries for any
reason.

Caddies: Players must walk at all
times, but may use a caddy. Caddy must be
18 years of age or younger, no
exceptions. Caddies must walk at all
times as well.
Measuring devices: Measuring devices
that measure distance only may be used during the championship.
Spectator carts: Spectator carts
will be available to rent at a rate of $24 per cart. Carts must remain on paths at all times.

Dress code: Hats/visors must be worn with
brim forward, males must remove hat/visor while
indoors.
Collared shirts or mock turtlenecks
must be worn and tucked in at all times.
Shorts
must be no more than 5” above the knee.
Parent policy: Parents
are encouraged to follow their child. We
do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs in no cart paths),
unless assisting with the search for a ball.
Withdraws: If you cannot compete in this
championship, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA office at
910-673-1000 prior to round 1.
If you do not withdraw properly, you
are considered a "no show" and you may be suspended from CGA events
for 1 year.
