Entry Information: First 50% of available tournament spots are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis equally distributed between individual and group of four entries. After the first 50% of entries have been accepted then entries are accumulated for the remainder of the tournament Open/Close window. When a tournament field is oversubscribed, the remaining spots and alternates are selected based on a "blind draw" method with groups of four receiving preference. Tournament schedule, open/close dates, number of available tournament spots at each site and online tournament registration are available at www.carolinasgolf.org. Online registration opens at 12:00am midnight on the open date. Mail or walk-in applications are processed as time permits without any guarantees regarding entry order. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the tournament, by the Carolinas Golf Association. The CGA is not responsible for errors or delays made by any mail or delivery courier. Fax, e-mail, telephone, late, illegible or incomplete entries are not accepted. A check for the appropriate entry fee payable to the Carolinas Golf Association must accompany each entry form. When One-Day Tournaments are scheduled on consecutive days, priority in acceptance is given to those who enter both events. Confirmation of acceptance is sent to Player 1 listed above. Individual entries are paired together. Tee time requests are not accepted. Players who are a "No Show" (DNS) or “No Card” (NC) will be suspended from the next four CGA one-day tournaments that they are eligible for including the Tournament of Champions. The suspension will carry forward between seasons if necessary.

Day after Close Date to Day Prior to Tournament Date: 50% entry fee refunded regardless of reason. Withdraw on Tournament Date: No refund for any reason. Alternates receive a full refund.

Rules and Format: USGA Rules of Golf govern play. 18 holes of individual stroke play. 100% course handicap.  Field divided into four divisions based upon handicap index, gender and age. Men A: 7.9 index or less; Men B: 8.0 index or higher; Senior Men (age 55+); Women (all). A minimum of six entries is required to create a flight. Approximate yardage: Men A (6,600 yards); Men B and Senior Men (6,000 yards); Women (5,400 yards). The CGA monitors handicap score posting and reserves the right to adjust course handicaps and/or withhold prizes for competitors whose handicaps are considered unrealistic or who have participated in a disproportionate share of CGA prize distributions. Notice to Players rules sheet is available at www.carolinasgolf.org. Players should check-in with CGA tournament director prior to play to receive official score card and tournament information. CGA will automatically post tournament scores for participants back to their home club handicap.

Prizes and Merchandise: Prizes are awarded for low gross scores and low net scores in each division. The low gross and low net winner from each flight is eligible for the Tournament of Champions. The number of net prizes is determined by the number of entries in each flight. Ties are broken on the score card using the USGA recommended method. A player is disqualified if his net score beats the course rating by eight or more strokes and beats the next best net score in their division by four or more strokes.

Cart Fees and Caddies: Cart and range fee is included in the entry fee. Cart use is mandatory. Caddies are not allowed.
