Player Information

Practice Round: You may play your ONE complimentary practice round July 29 after 10:00 or when times are available on weekdays the week prior. Players must call in advance for practice round times. Identify yourself with the CGA Parent/Child Tournament when arranging your practice round tee time. Cart rental and use for your practice round will be mandatory at $25 per player with range included. The cart /range fee for the tournament round is included in your entry fee.

Championship Format: Carolinas Parent-Child Championship format is modified alternate shot where both team members play from each teeing ground, select a ball, then play alternate shot until the ball is holed. Play will be from the White tees for males and the Gold tees for females. Eleven and under and women 50 and over will play the Forward (Green) tees.

Soft spikes only. No denim, shirts must have collars and shorts must be Bermuda-length. Private coolers are not allowed. Cell phone use, except for emergencies, is not allowed during play. Distance measuring devices are allowed.

Tee times for the championship will be available July 23. Players may call Longleaf, the Carolinas Golf Association or log on to the CGA web site www.carolinasgolf.org for complete tournament information.

Directions: The club is located on Midland Road about 1 mile from the traffic circle heading toward Southern Pines. Turn left at the traffic light onto Knoll Road.
