Membership Benefits

The Carolinas Golf Association provides many benefits to its members, at both the club and individual level.

If you are a member of a CGA member club, then you can enjoy the benefits and services of our great association.

INDIVIDUAL CGA MEMBER BENEFITS:

HANDICAP INDEX

Whether competing in a CGA championship, a CGA One-Day tournament, or an event at your club, participants must have an active Handicap Index. The purpose of the Wolrd Handicap System is to make the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling golfers of different abilities the chance to compete on an equal basis.

The CGA uses GHIN, a service of the USGA, to provide handicap services to its members and member clubs. Please note that both North Carolina and South Carolina observe a year-round posting season. Thus, a Handicap Index will be revised the day after any score is posted. Post a Score  |  Handicap Lookup
