 |
 |
| | The Women's Carolinas Golf Association, along with the Virginia women's golf associations, originated the Carolinas-Virginias Team Matches in 1957.
The goal was and is to provide golfers who have excelled in state and local
competitions the opportunity to represent their home state in an interstate
 match.

The traditions of good golf, respectful sportsmanship, and great friendships
are reflected in these competitions. Just to be asked if you are available to
play is a source of pride to women golfers throughout the Carolinas.

The matches include three age categories; Regular, Senior and Super
Senior. All competitors (except captain's picks) must have a USGA handicap
 index of 6.0 or better.
