Ben Boncella
Senior Director of Finance

Ben brings extensive experience in financial leadership across nonprofit, corporate, and philanthropic sectors. Before joining our team, he served as Accounting Manager at Humanity United, where he managed financial operations for a $55 million organization. His contributions included strengthening internal controls, streamlining processes, preparing IRS 990 filings, and leveraging business intelligence tools to boost accuracy and efficiency.

Ben’s career spans key financial roles at the American Board of Pediatrics, Epilog Laser, and Circle K Stores, where he supported financial reporting, audit readiness, ERP system implementation, and strategic decision-making. He is recognized for his strong technical expertise, collaborative leadership, and data-driven approach to solving complex challenges.

A graduate of the University of Mount Olive with a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting, Ben was also a member of the university’s men’s volleyball team. He is a Certified Microsoft Excel Specialist and holds several certifications in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Based in Holly Springs, Ben is the proud father of two young boys. In his role as Director of Finance, he oversees the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and compliance, helping ensure long-term sustainability in support of our mission.
