Give back to the game you love
Give back to the game you love
The Carolinas Golf Association is largely a volunteer-based organization. The common denominator of all CGA volunteers is the simple desire to give something back to the game that they love. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a few hours, we'd love to have you involved!
From Rules Officials ensuring fair play at championships to Course Raters maintaining accurate handicap systems, each volunteer role is essential to our mission.
We're continuously seeking willing and capable persons to assist us in the areas of Rules Officiating, Tournament support, and Course Rating.
Support events as a Rules Official, Starter, Scorer, Pace of Play Monitor, or Spotter. Apply your knowledge of the Rules of Golf on the course at CGA championships and qualifiers.
Course Rating volunteers are essential to the World Handicap System (WHS). These volunteers help maintain accurate Course and Slope Ratings for all CGA member facilities.
Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help us continue serving amateur golf in the Carolinas. Whether you want to become a Rules Official, help at tournaments, or contribute as a Course Rater, we have a place for you.
