Request Funding For Golf Initiatives In The Carolinas

The CGF supports eligible Carolina-based programs that grow the game and strengthen golf communities, including turfgrass research, junior and women’s golf, inclusion/adaptive initiatives, and targeted facility improvements.

Eligibility

Requests must directly benefit golf in North or South Carolina.

  • Who Can Apply

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public school, or public agency serving NC/SC
  • Program or project directly benefits golf in the Carolinas
  • Clear, measurable goals and itemized budget
  • Capacity to track outcomes and report impact
  • Willingness to recognize CGF/CGA support (as appropriate)

How To Apply

Simple, Annual Application Process

Plan ahead, submissions are due by the second Monday of January, each year.

Confirm your organization and project meet the criteria above.

Step 2

Prepare Materials

Budget, timeline, impact goals, and recognition plan; gather your Tax ID.

Step 3

Submit Application

Complete the Request for Funding form and submit by the deadline.

Timeline

Applications close the second Monday of January. Reviews typically occur in February with notifications in early April.

 

Reporting

Awardees provide a brief outcomes report and proof of spend (if purchases are involved).

When Will We Hear Back?

Most applicants are notified within 6–8 weeks of the deadline. (Confirm timeline.)

Can We Apply For Multi-Year Funding?

Most awards are one-year. Multi-year requests are rare and considered case-by-case. (Confirm policy.)
