The Carolinas Golf Foundation (CGF) supports eligible Carolinas-based programs that expand the game’s reach to strengthen golf communities which includes college scholarships, junior and women’s golf development, inclusion and adaptive initiatives, and turfgrass research.
Requests must directly benefit golf in North or South Carolina.
Plan ahead—submissions open Tuesday after Thanksgiving and are due by the second Monday of January, each year.

Complete the ONLINE Request for Funding form and submit by the deadline.
Applications open the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (Giving Tuesday). Applications close the second Monday of January. Reviews typically occur in February with notifications in early March.
Approved grants are awarded by the end of March.
Awardees are requested to provide how CGF was recognized for the grant you received.
Awardees are requested to provide a brief outcomes report and proof of spend (receipts), if purchases are involved.
Typically no. Applicants should be 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, or public agencies.

Most applicants are notified within 6–8 weeks of the deadline.
Awards will be distributed by the end of March.
Awards are a one-year committment; however, organizations are encouraged to apply year after year.
