Agronomy Services
The Carolinas Golf Association provides expert agronomy services to support member clubs in maintaining high-quality playing conditions while promoting sound environmental and sustainability practices. Through this service, the CGA offers access to nationally respected agronomy experts with decades of experience in turfgrass management, research, and golf course operations.
These services are designed to help clubs make informed decisions, address course-specific challenges, and plan for long-term success.

Together, Dr. Yelverton and Dr. McCarty bring extensive practical and academic experience in turfgrass science, working closely with golf course superintendents to provide objective, research-based recommendations tailored to each facility.

- On-site course assessments and condition evaluations

Cost to Member Clubs
CGA agronomy services are provided at no direct cost to member clubs.
The only expense to the club is reimbursement for the agronomists' travel costs, which are billed based on actual expenses incurred.

Requests are scheduled based on agronomist availability and the specific needs of the club.
