After Day One at 70th Captain's Putter Team Matches
 

Winston-Salem, N.C. –– After a day of 12 four-ball and 12 foursomes matches, the Virginias and Carolinas teams are locked in a tie (12-12) at the 70th Captain’s Putter Matches being conducted at Old Town Club. Altogether, 24 golfers from the Virginias and the Carolinas are competing in the matches.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Chase Liebler as Assistant Director of Junior Golf. Liebler, who resides in Pinehurst, N.C., will oversee the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA), assist CGA Director of Junior Golf Jason Cox with junior championships, and expand the popular TYGA Tots program, a series of events for boys and girls aged five to twelve. Chase's father, Steve, was the CGA's first Director of Junior Golf in 1995.
