SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (March 22, 2017) -- Benjamin Franklin said: "We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing." With that quote in mind, the Carolinas Golf Association is please to debut the first North Carolina Super Senior Four-Ball Championship, open to men ages 65 and older. The tournament will be played on the Farm Course at Greensboro Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. on March 29-30.

The field has been expanded to144 players for the 9th Carolinas Super Senior hosted by Fort Mill Golf Club in Fort Mill, S.C. The schedule of events has been adjusted, there will be a double tee start at 8:30 am and 12:30 pm both Wednesday and Thursday. Players will be repaired inside their flight for Round 2 based on Round 1 scores. Leaders will tee off in the afternoon wave on Thursday. Lunch will be served on Thursday between 11:00 am-3:00 pm.
