(January 9, 2017) -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has announced that the 2017 CGA Annual Meeting, Carolinas Golf Night, and Carolinas Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 11th at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (January 4, 2017) -- A new Local Rule announced by the USGA and The R&A eliminates the penalty when a ball is accidentally moved on the putting green. The Carolinas Golf Association will adopt this Local Rule for all of their championships, qualifying competitions, and one-day events for 2017 and beyond.
