Age and Gender: Female amateurs who have not reached their 13th birthday as of July 9, 2013.
Residency Criteria: Must be a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina.
Championship Format:
Players have the option to compete in either the “Championship” division or “Tournament” division. “Tournament” division plays a shorter course and is ineligible for the overall championship. The championship is conducted at match play. Championship, first and second flight and will play from the "championship" tees. Championship flight is comprised of 16 players. The first and second flight is each comprised of 8 players. On-course playoff is used to break a tie for the last spot in the championship flight. A blind draw is used to determine the last spot in all other flights. Tournament division will play from the "tournament” tees and will be divided into flights by scores after the 18-hole stroke play qualifying round. The number of flights and flight sizes are determined based on the number of entries. The CGA reserves the right to adjust any flights based on the entries received.
