The Carolinas Women's Four-Ball Championship, which began in 1978, is the oldest women's CGA championship. This championship is conducted at 36 holes of four-ball stroke play with a Championship division and a Senior division (which is comprised of players that have reached their 50th birthday by May 23, 2017). This competition includes gross scores only. Teams are pre-flighted within their division based on combined team Handicap Index®. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 13th birthday by May 23, 2017, is a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.

Carolinas Team Exemption: The overall champion team and the senior champion team will automatically qualify for the 2017 Carolinas Team that will compete in the Carolinas-Virginias Women's Team Matches on July 17-19, 2017 at Spring Creek Golf Club in Gordonsville, VA.

Entry Fees: (includes all golf fees, prizes and lunch after final round for both players) : $250

Championship Schedule:
Monday, May 22: Tee times available for practice round.
Tuesday, May 23: First round. 18 holes of four-ball stroke play (tee times).
Wednesday, May 24: Final Round. 18 holes of four-ball stroke play (shotgun). Luncheon and awards presentation immediately after play.
