RUTHERFORDTON, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 30th North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship hosted by Cleghorn Plantation Golf & Country Club in Rutherfordton, NC on Friday, May 1, 2015 (6066 yards, Par 35-36—71, Rating: 70.0/127).

Phil Bland of Waynesville, NC carded a two-over par 73 to take medalist honors.

The cut line fell at eight-over par 79. 16 players advanced to the 30th North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship that will be played May 12-14 at Champion Hills Club in Hendersonville, NC.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)

The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers.
