It was the team from the Sandhills of North Carolina who came away with their fourth victory in five years, as Pinehurst Country Club commanded the 5th playing of the Carolinas Women’s Club Team Championship.

Finishing with a team total of 16-under-par, the quartet from Pinehurst only built upon their lead from yesterday. After a 12-under-par opening day in a scramble format, they added to their lead with a 4-under-par day today while playing Pinehurst Alternate Shot.

The duo of Patty Moore and Kendra Muir paced the team in alternate shot, cruising to a 5-under-par day on their final round. Teammates Sarah Phillips-Durst and Amy Rich played steady as well with a 1-over-par final round to help turn in an impressive team golf performance.

The Wildewood Club finished in second in the Championship Division, at a total of 3-under-par. The pair of Natalie Huff and Suzann Bartley finished at Even Par in Pinehurst alternate shot, while Suzy Ellison and Julie Snider turned in a very stout 1-over-par round.
