Match Play Bracket Set at Car 4 Ball

CAMDEN, S.C. – Second round results of the 64th Carolinas Four-Ball Championship hosted by Camden Country Club in Camden, S.C. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 (6455 yards, par 35-35—70, 71.6/128).

Taylor Ingle of Winnsboro, S.C. - Brandon Truesdale of Winnsboro, S.C. fired a second straight round of 64 for a 128 total to take medalist honors and earn the number one seed for match play.

The cut line fell at 138 with exactly 32 teams advancing to the match play portion of the championship without the need for a playoff. Round of 32 matches begin at 8:00am off #1 and #10 tees at Camden Country Club on Friday morning.

A handful of former champions advanced to match play: three-time champion Bert Atkinson-Sammy Truett (2001, 02, 05), Robert Dargan-David Dargan (2006), Paul Tucker-Brent Roof (2013) and Blair Bowland (2012) playing with new partner Dustin Moore.

The Carolinas Four-Ball Championship is open to any male amateur golfer who has reached his 13th birthday by the first day of the championship, is a resident of North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)

The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers.
