Playoffs have begun for the Carolinas Interclub Championship

River Hills CC (Lake Wylie SC) began their defense of the CGA Interclub Championship last Saturday by defeating the #1 team from River Run CC (Davidson NC) 28 to 8. River Hills has won this championship 3 times (2002, 2009, 2012).

First round action for the interclub playoffs will end this coming weekend with the 2nd and 3rd rounds played in October.

The final two teams will meet at the Sedgefield Country Club Dye course in Greensboro, NC on November 16 and 17, 2013.

CGA Interclub competition began in April with 50 teams playing home and away regular season matches thru August.
