Southern Pines, N.C. (July 21, 2025) – A scorching 8-under-par performance lifted Sara Adams and Todd Adams of Whispering Pines, N.C., to the top of the leaderboard at the 28th Carolinas Parent-Child Championship held at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.. The duo combined for seven birdies and two eagles in route to a 64 in the challenging modified alternate shot format.

Tied for second at 3-under (69) were Kevin Miller and Sadler Miller of Clayton, N.C., along with three-time champions Jeff Burcham and Macie Burcham of Greensboro, N.C. The Burchams entered the day looking to win a fourth Parent-Child title after claiming victories in 2021, 2023, and 2024, but ultimately fell just short of defending their crown.

Two teams tied for fourth place at 2-under (70):

    Riley Hamilton and Wayne Hamilton of Reidsville and Stoneville, N.C.

    Tom Carson and Kathryn Carson of Mooresville and Greenville, N.C.
