Charlotte, N.C. – Final results of the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur sectional qualifier hosted by Pine Island Country Club on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Par 35-37—72  6050 yards.

Three ladies punched their ticket to the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship that will be held at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La. on October 3-8,, 2015.

Dawn Woodard of Greer, S.C., Patty Moore of Charlotte, N.C. were the two Carolinians that earned their way for a trip down south.  Taffy Brower of Boynton Beach, FL also qualified. 

Laura Coble of Augusta, Ga. and Lea Venable of Simpsonville, S.C. were first and second alternates.

This qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)

The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers.
